“The designer once again delivered a beautiful amalgam of all things frothy, feminine and floral. Restraint did not seem to be in his vocabulary when conceiving this collection, but despite the heavy use of ruffles, florals, embroidery, appliqués, sequins, bows, tulle, tulle and more tulle, the end result was utterly charming and romantic. There was even a sense of newness and modernity in many of the silhouettes that provided a valid argument against anyone who might see Valli as a one-trick pony.”
