Ooh La La: Parisian Charm

Decor Inspiration:
Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais Paris, France

The Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais  is a boutique hotel that exudes that ooh la la  Parisian charm.

With only seven floors and nineteen rooms , the hotel is cozy and enchanting.

The decor is inspired by 18th-century writer Beaumarchais, who lived in a neighboring mansion.

This charming hotel is a 6-minute walk from the Musée Carnavalet (French history museum) and 10 minutes from both the Musée National Picasso- Paris (art museum) and the Place des Vosges (historic square).
Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais is the name of Pierre Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais ( 1732-1799 ) playwright, watchmaker, arms dealer , musician , spy and financier , famous for The Marriage of Figaro ( The original source of the famous Mozart opera ) and former resident of rue Vieille du Temple , where the hotel stands today .
Chairs upholstered in vintage silk, authentic antiques from selected markets across Europe,  along with romantic wallpaper and lighting create an ambiance perfect for that Parisian experience.

Interior decorator and owner, Alain Bigeard,  says the hotel’s decor is meant to tell part of the hotel’s history with a little wit and fun.

Tiny balconies overlooking Rue de Rivoli are perfect place to enjoy morning coffee and croissants.

Looks simply magnifique!
