Design notes:
This was one of those houses where you almost feel guilty about tearing the kitchen out.
It was very respectable and certainly “nice enough” but the bottom line is and will always be what the client needs.
This kitchen was small and cramped and dark for the homeowners needs and tastes.
So… it had to go! (Don’t worry we salvage and donate everything we possibly can from all projects!)
The couple wanted a “cooks kitchen” and that’s what they got!
This entire floor is now dedicated to entertaining.
We broke into the unnecessary hallways to create a beautiful large kitchen with double sinks, a ladder and a sit down breakfast nook.
We turned the hallway room into a bar area, the butlers pantry into a bathroom and updated the living room to reflect the homeowners style!
Traditional meets modern. Historical meets young! What a fun project!
