The Connaught Tiara
Made by E. Wolff & Co in 1905, it was a wedding gift to Princess Margaret of Connaught from her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Connaught, when she married Prince Gustaf Adolf of Sweden. It was a favorite of Princess Sibylla after her wedding and she often wore it. Since Princess Sibylla’s death the tiara was passed back to Queen Silvia and the tiara has been seen at many weddings since. The Connaught Tiara has 5 distinctive upright loops of forget-me-not wreaths with a diamond pendant suspended in each. Between the loops, upside down bows support single diamond uprights. It is versatile as it can be worn as a necklace.
